TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) - Citizens for Responsible Spending (CRS) has announced the creation of a Post-Hurricane Recovery Best Practices Task Force.
CRS Chairman and former Lieutenant Governor Jeff Kottcamp said that the purpose of the task force is to create a model of best practices to ensure a smooth and rapid response to future emergencies.
The task force wanted to focus on chain of command, communication efforts, partnerships, and key groups of need. Kottman is concerned with the level of complaints between community members, local, and state authorities.
The twelve member task force is expected to present its recommendations by Oct. 7th.
