TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - An investigation is currently underway to determine who defaced the Shady Grove Primitive Baptist Church on Centerville Road, Sunday around 11:45 PM.
Leon County deputies searched the church grounds after seeing graffiti on the church's sign and found the letters "KKK" written on the side of the church.
Deputies spoke with church elders about the graffiti and have filed a report.
Last year similar hate messages were branded on predominantly black Wakulla County churches. In that case the FBI launched an investigation to discover the culprits.
