TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) – All across America people celebrated National Wreaths Across America Day.
Locally in Tallahassee about 500 people participated on Saturday, in a wreath laying ceremony at the Tallahassee National Cemetery.
A day to remember those who served our country and have past.
The Local President of the Tallahassee Chapter of Vietnam Veterans of America explains what if feels to lay a wreath.
"It's always an honor to always be a part of any ceremony out here at the national cemetery and to be asked to hang the wreath for the United States Army, its a deep honor to me," said Joe West.
More than 1,400 locations in all 50 states celebrated the national day.
