TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Residents learned about the importance of bee populations at a special event Thursday.
The event called "Save the Bees" was held at Honeytree Natural Foods on Market Street.
Attendees heard all about Host Defense's bee-friendly initiative, with an overview of research being done by Washington State University.
Attendees also learned about Host Defense mushrooms, which are being used to help overcome colony collapse disorder.
