TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - The City of Tallahassee is continuing it commitment to improve the quality of the city, and Tuesday that focus moves to the Southside.

More specifically, the focus is right at Orange Avenue and Meridian Road.

WTXL ABC's Jada Williams was live Tuesday morning with details.

The Blueprint Intergovernmental Agency is inviting residents in the area to discuss what they want to see come to the area.

This is a continuing effort of the Public Spaces to Great Places Summit happening this week and also a part of the agency's bigger plan to redevelopment much of Orange Avenue and the southside.

This new shift in identifying ways to grow the community relies heavily on addressing exactly what the people most impacted want.

One existing place at the intersection of Orange and Meridian is especially being focused on.

The meeting Tuesday starts at 5:30 p.m. at Bethel AME Church.

Another district forum will be held October 4.
