TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - The Tallahassee Animal Service Center (ASC) is hosting a rabies and identification clinic for cats on Tuesday, January 28, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Tallahassee-Leon Community Animal Service Center, 1125 Easterwood Drive, Tallahassee, FL.

According to Carrie Poole with the City's Communications Department, cats attending the clinic can receive microchips, rabies vaccinations, collars and personalized ID tags at no cost! Be the Solution Inc. will also be on hand to distribute low-cost spay/neuter vouchers to attendees.

The event is free, however the center is asking for a $10 suggested donation per cat to help cover the cost of future clinics. Cats must be at least two months old to receive a microchip and at least three months old to receive a rabies vaccination.

This is a cat-friendly event only. No dogs allowed.
