TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - The Tallahassee Police Department has noted the road closures for Fourth of July events in the city.
Firecracker 5K @ Cascade Park
- 7:30 a.m. -10:30 am
- Traffic will be temporarily held for runners on Franklin and Lafayette Street.
- Suwannee Street is closed from Gadsden to Lafayette Street.
Southwood’s Celebration of the Red White and Blue.
- 9-12:30 p.m.
- No traffic on Grove Park Trail from Mulberry Blvd. to Mossy Creek Blvd.
- *There are no closures for the evening fireworks display.
Celebrate America @ Tom Brown Park
- 4 p.m. – 11 p.m. (approximately)
- The following road will be closed: Conner Blvd. (Capitol Circle to Lone Feather Drive)
After the event, traffic will be one way out of Tom Brown Park at: Weems Road and Mahan Drive, Easterwood Drive and Weems Road
