Tallahassee airport completes passenger processing lanes

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - The Tallahassee International Airport has completed upgrades to the airport security checkpoint in time for the holiday travel season.

The work restores two passenger processing lanes and paves the way for future growth and development, according to a news release Thursday.

Passengers will notice upgrades designed to enhance the overall travel experience and increase operational efficiencies.

The airport is offering travelers tips to make their experience more enjoyable:

  • Arrive at least 90 minutes before your scheduled departure time.
  • Bring a boarding pass, ticket or ticket confirmation, and a government-issued photo ID.
  • Pack light and check with your airline regarding checked baggage fees.
