TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - While everyone was gathered around the Thanksgiving table, your pets were definitely underneath it.

Veterinarian Karris Dickey says you need to be careful when eating around your pets because certain foods can upset your pet's stomach.

Example, for dogs small slices of turkey and especially carrots are good for your furry friend, but there are some other foods that are not.

The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals also says raw dough is a no-no.

The organization says you can, however, give your animal a little bit of gravy.
