Posted

SUWANNEE COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) - Authorities say the Suwannee Valley Electric Cooperative will be energizing lines to find the source of the power outages.

The Suwannee County Fire Rescue posted about it Tuesday morning. They say that the company is doing this to get the power back on as soon as possible.

Authorities are warning residents not to get near or touch any power lines, as the may be live and energized due to the testing. They advise that you should not to get close or touch any power lines, even if they have been dead for the last few days.

They say that you should also avoid being near downed power lines as well, as there's no way to tell if they are energized.
