SUWANNEE COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) - A high school student is taken to the hospital after a school bus crash in Suwannee County.
The Florida Highway Patrol says the accident happened around 3:30 p.m. Monday at Governor Avenue in front of Branford High School.
Troopers say the school bus driver, Jeffry Hunt, pulled out in front of a car and hit it.
Forty-nine students were on board. One student was taken to Lake City Medical Center with minor injuries.
Hunt was cited for the crash.
