SUWANNEE COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) - A 19-year-old has been charged with aggravated assault after he was hit by a car and shot multiple rounds inside the car in retaliation, injuring two teenage minors.

The Suwannee County Sheriff's Office says that on Sunday afternoon, Lee Elliott Wilson, 22, was driving a vehicle in the 3 Rivers Estates area of Branford when he hit 19-year-old Drake Dragon Fire Shingledecker with his passenger side mirror.

The incident sparked an argument between Shingledecker, Wilson and Wilson's two teenage passengers that escalated into a physical fight.

As Wilson and his passengers were attempting to run away from the area, deputies say Shingledecker pulled out a handgun and fired multiple rounds into the vehicle, hitting both Wilson's teenage passengers.

Both teens were transported to an area hospital where they were treated for minor injuries.

During their investigation, SCSO says Wilson repeatedly lied to them and claimed that he was the only one in the vehicle when Shingledecker shot at it. Through further investigation on Monday, Suwannee County investigators later determined that all of the parties involved were not truthful with deputies.

They now believe that Wilson had planned on meeting with Shingledecker to buy drugs from him. At least one of the teens in the car was aware that Wilson was planning on “ripping off” Shingledecker by taking the drugs and running without paying for them.

Once Wilson and Shingledecker met, Wilson attempted to flee with the drugs but got in a fight with Shingledecker through the vehicle window. At some point during this altercation, someone pulled out a handgun and multiple shots were fired at the vehicle Wilson was driving with the 13-year-old and 15-year-old male passengers.

Both Wilson and Shingledecker were arrested during the initial investigation and were transported to the Suwannee County Jail.

Wilson has been charged with making a false report. He was released on a $1,000 bond.

Shingledecker has been charged with firing a weapon into an occupied vehicle, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon (3 counts), and aggravated battery with a deadly weapon (3 counts). As of Monday, he remains in jail on a $85,000 bond.

SCSO's investigation into this incident is still on-going and further criminal charges are pending.
