Suwannee County (WTXL)-- The C & D Landfill caught fire and continued to burn Thursday and through out the day Friday, according to Suwannee County Fire Rescue.
Fire Rescue crews along with Florida Forestry Services and owners of the property have worked to contain the fire, that covered over half an acre of debris, with loads of dirt.
According to Suwannee County Fire Rescue, weather has kept the smoke from affecting traffic conditions in the surrounding area.
