LIVE OAK, Fla. (WTXL)--Suwannee County deputies are searching for an armed robber.

On Saturday night around 6:40, deputies say a man walked in the Stop & Go on U.S. 90 East and told the store clerk "give me all your money."

The store clerk told him "no," and that's when the man pulled a knife out from his shirt sleeve.

The store clerk then picked up the chair from behind the counter, and the suspect told him to give him a carton of cigarettes. The clerk told him he wouldn't. Then the suspect asked for a pack of cigarettes and the clerk handed it to him.

The suspect then said "give me some beer," and the clerk grabbed the phone to call 9-1-1.

Deputies say at that time, a woman opened the door and he yelled at her, saying he was being robbed.

The suspect took off. Deputies searched the area behind the store, finding shoe prints and tire tracks on a dirt road.

Deputies believe the suspect had a getaway driver.

The man is described as white and was wearing hunting camouflage with a mask.
