TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Leon County Residents met with government officials this afternoon and the topic of discussion was food.
The county hosted its Sustainable Communities Summit themed 'Food for Us'. It's an effort to empower and educated citizens on their food choices and how it can strengthen the community. The day's conversation explored a vision of good food.
The summit expressed the importance of urban agriculture and its link to healthy communities.
