Suspected Furniture Thieves Caught In Lowndes County

VALDOSTA, Ga. (WTXL)--A neighbor alerts police to suspected furniture thieves in Lowndes County.

On Monday, a neighbor called 9-1-1 to report a burglary.

When deputies got to the home on  Vienna Church Road, they found a group of people had loaded all sorts of items and electronics from the victim's home and were unloading them at a home nearby.

A sofa, love seat, coffee table, and video games were all recovered, and returned to the victim.

Twenty-six-year-old Michael Ennis, of Quitman, and 30-year-old Angela Guillen, of Valdosta, were taken to the Lowndes County Jail. They're both charged with burglary, theft by taking, and criminal trespass.

A teenager was also arrested.
