THOMASVILLE, Ga. (WTXL)--A suspected burglar is caught in the act by police in Thomasville.
On Saturday around 2:30 a.m., police responded to a home on Wolf Street after they received a call two suspicious men where breaking into a house.
After arriving, the officer saw a man running though the house. The officer ran to the back of the house to cut him off.
Then the officer heard more footsteps running back to the front of house, and called for back up.
One officer stood in the front of the house and another in the back. The back door was partially open, so an officer pushed it open and called for whoever was inside to surrender. Luther Brown was arrested for burglary. Brown said he was homeless.
The second man wasn't found.
