TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) - Tallahassee Police say they have arrested the man responsible for multiple robberies including three this week, two of which were at Envision Credit Unions.
Philip Belancsik was arrested Wednesday evening charged with robbery with a weapon, robbery with a firearm, possession of a weapon by a convicted felon, and fleeing law enforcement during a high speed chase.
According to the Tallahassee Police Department, descriptions of the suspect from the victims in addition to surveillance footage helped them find an address for Belancsik.
Police began monitoring his mother's home in the Indian Head-Leigh neighborhood and after the Wednesday robbery, they attempted to arrest him. Belancsik led police in a car chase but was eventually arrested after police rammed his vehicle with their own.

5/18/2016 - Envision Credit Union on Appleyard Drive - robbery with deadly weapon, aggravated fleeing and eluding, possession of firearm by convicted felon
5/16/2016 - Walgreens on Magnolia Drive - robbery with a firearm, possession of firearm by a convicted felon
5/16/2016 - Envision Credit Union on Apalachee Parkway - robbery with firearm, possession of firearm by a convicted felon
11/13/2015 - Envision Credit Union on Appleyard Drive - robbery with deadly Weapon
11/13/2015 - Envision Credit Union on Apalachee Parkway - attempted robbery
10/16/2015 - First Commerce Credit Union on Old St. Augustine Rd. - robbery with a deadly weapon
Belancsik has previously been convicted for multiple robberies and burglaries in Brevard and Volusia counties.
