TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Police have arrested a man accused of robbing Capital City Bank last week.
The Tallahassee Police Department said that James Lawson, 30, surrendered at Cascades Park on Monday.
Lawson was wanted for allegedly robbing Capital City Bank at 1456 Capital Circle Northwest on April 19.
They said that the incident happened around 10:50 a.m. that day.
Police were dispatched after the bank alerted them to a possible emergency. They were told that Lawson came into the business and implied he had a weapon.
Lawson then demanded money from the bank employee and fled the business after receiving an undisclosed amount of money.
He fled the bank in the pictured pickup truck.
No one was injured during the incident.
