BAINBRIDGE, Ga. (WTXL) - A man has been arrested after confessing to several crimes to include the attempted armed robbery of a gas station, an armed robbery of a Taco Bell, and a cash drawer theft from Walmart.
Bainbridge Public Safety says Edward Moore, 23, of Donalsonville was arrested Thursday morning around 10 a.m. at a home on Georgia Street in Bainbridge.
They say Moore confessed to several crimes in Bainbridge to include the attempted armed robbery of the Circle K on Tallahassee Highway on Monday, a cash drawer theft at Walmart on March 25, and an armed robbery at Taco Bell on March 18.
Officers are thanking citizens for providing information that lead to Moore's arrest.
BAINBRIDGE, Ga. (WTXL) - Bainbridge Public Safety Officers are looking for a suspect in an attempted armed robbery.
On March 26 around 2 a.m., BPS was called to the Circle K Convenience Store on Tallahassee Highway in response to an attempted armed robbery.
Officers were told that the suspect had fled the scene running in the direction of Walmart.
A search of the area was done but no one fitting the description of the suspect was found.
The Circle K employee spoke to officers and stated that a black male entered the store wearing a gray hooded top and black pants. The employee said the suspect was holding a silver handgun and demanded that she give him her cellphone.
She refused and attempted to dial 911. The suspect proceeded around the counter in an effort to grab the phone. When his attempt failed, he left the building and ran across Tallahassee Highway.
The suspect was described as being approximately 6-foot-tall, 120 pounds, and 25 to 30 years of age.
