TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Supporters in Tallahassee gather downtown, rallying for the Global March for Elephants and Rhinos.
About a dozen supporters gathered at the capitol this morning, demanding for an end to the trade of ivory and rhino horn. The advocates are calling for governments to take action to end poaching.
According to the group, approximately one elephant is killed every 15 minutes in the african continent, while one rhino is killed every 7 to 11 hours.
The global march for elephants and rhinos took place in more than 100 cities on Sunday, all across the world.
