TALLAHASSEE, FL. (WTXL) - A Tallahasee man is arrested in connection with a robbery outside the Super 8 Motel on North Monroe Street.
According to The Tallahassee Democrat, 27 year old Christopher Winfield told police he had planned to a rob a man during a drug deal last week. Winfield says, the victim pulled a gun on him and shot him as he ran away, and that another man involved in the transaction actually shot the victim. The victim claims he was planning to buy an iPad from Winfield, but when Winfield approached him, he shot him and took his money.
Winfield is now facing charges of aggravated battery and robbery with a firearm. He remains in the Leon County Jail.
