TALLAHASSEE, Fla. -- Swimming and running will combine during the 2013 Youth Aquathlon Series Splash and Dash.
The race is being hosted by the USA Triathlon (USAT) at Florida State University's Morcom Aquatic Center. It begins at 8:30 a.m. on June 2.
The event is open to all children ages 5-15. No prior race experience is necessary to participate. The USAT defines race age as the age the participant will be on December 31 in the year of the competition.
The entry fee is $15. It includes a t-shirt, finisher's medal, training clinics, and a post-race party. The proceeds benefit the Foundation for Leon County Schools and the Capital Region YMCA.
