TALLAHASSEE, Fla. -- The Capital City YMCA is hosting Summer Day Camps at all three Tallahassee-area locations.
The Summer Day Camps are for children ages 5-12 and teenagers. The weekly camp is $115 for members and $140 for non-members.
The new president and CEO of the Capital Region YMCA, Ray Purvis, says that there has been record enrollment in the camp. There are still openings available.
Purvis has been at the helm of Capital Region YMCA for six months. He previously ran the YMCA in Hong Kong. In addition to the summer programs, Purvis says that there are more programs planned for the community to enjoy. For example, the organization is now working to provide services to children in Wakulla County as well as Leon County.
