TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) -- Blues musician Brett Wellman joining us for another Sunrise Rocks with some exciting news!
The Tallahassee native fronts Brett Wellman and the Stone Cold Blues Band.
The group just snagged an impressive gig: opening for blues legend Tab Benoit when he makes a stop in the Capital City.
Wellman says this is a special opportunity to share the stage with someone he's admired, plus the chance to play his own music for a great crowd.

The show is Thursday, January 14 at The Moon (1105 E Lafayette Street). Doors open at 6:30 p.m.
Brett Wellman and the Stone Cold Blues Band are also playing a chili cook-off fundraiser at Crawfordville Elementary School on January 22, and then on Saturday, January 23 at Clyde's and Costello's.
