TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) - Sand, sun, and the beach. Friday morning's Sunrise Rocks performer sings what he calls "saltwater music."
Singer/song writer, Del Suggs, has over 70 published songs and 5 CD's released. Suggs also helped to found the Florida Chapter of NARAS, The Recording Academy, known for its Grammy Awards.
Suggs is considered a pioneer of the genre "Trop Rock" or tropical rock music made popular by acts like Jimmy Buffett, Kenney Chesney, and Zac Brown.
Suggs will be performing in the upcoming Tallahassee Music Week happening April 2nd through the 10th. Before then, he will perform at Downtown Marketplace Saturday, March 26th.
