TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL)-- The annual Sunbelt Agricultural Expo kicked off today in Moultrie.
Despite today's rain, the Expo is hosting more than 1,200 exhibitors showcasing the latest in farming technology.
It started today at Spence field on a 100 acre exhibit area and a 600 acre working research farm.
The Expo will feature educational seminars and demonstrations for visitors. Those visiting the Expo can also ride a tram to the exhibit area where cotton, peanuts, corn, soybeans, and hay are being harvested. Farming specialists will be in the field to answer visitor questions.
The Expo will run through Thursday and takes place today and Wednesday from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm and from 8:30 am to 4 pm on Thursday.
Advance ticket sales have ended but you can still buy your tickets at the gate. Children 10 and under can get into the event free with a parent.
