Tallahassee, Fla. (WTXL)---Is school a place students dread?
Many students report feeling tired, stressed or bored at school, especially during this season of standardized testing
Now, a group of students at Rickards High SChool are doing something about it and possibly earning $10,000 as a result.
The Youth Leadership and Social Change committee at Rickards held a workshop Saturday to raise awareness of how school climate impacts student performance.
"Just creating a better environment in general can make students feel safer and help them to achieve their full potential, which is what we're trying to do with the youth leadership and social change club, Katie Sorrell".
The winner gets a chance to win 10-thousand dollars from yale and facebook.
