Structure fire causing an estimate of $40,000 in damages in Tallahassee

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - The Tallahassee Fire Department responded to a structure fire in the 1300 block of Ocala Road at approximately 3:14 a.m. on Wednesday, August 16.  

As fire unit arrived on scene, smoke and fire was coming from the clubhouse. Crews started to extinguish the fire and search for occupants. Officials say no was inside at the time of the fire.

The fire caused an estimate of $40,000 in damages. The cause is under investigation by The Tallahassee Fire Department and State Fire Marshal's Office.  

Also, on scene assisting The Tallahassee Fire Department was City of Tallahassee Utilities, Leon County EMS, and Tallahassee Police Department.
