TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) - Families in need of school supplies are invited to join the city of Tallahassee for the Dade Street Back-to-School Jamboree.
Alison Faris, from the City of Tallahassee, joined us to discuss how to register, the giveaways and what to expect. Parents will be able to get book bags, school supplies, clothes and more.
In addition to giveaways, there will be live entertainment and free food. A variety of health and community venders will also have information available.
The event will take place Saturday at the Lawrence-Gregory Community Center and is free and open to the public. Mandatory registration starts at 9:30 a.m.
