TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - A Florida State Student accused of murdering two people, remains behind bars in Leon County.
Nicole Nachtman was taken into custody by Florida State Police on Friday at her dorm on FSU's campus, Smith Hall. FSU Police were notified by the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office, that the student was a person of interest in the death of her mother and step father.
According to FSU Police, Nachtman was transported to the police department without incident, and then was interviewed by investigators with Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office. During the course of the interview, probable cause was developed and arrest warrants were obtained and she was arrested.
Nachtman is currently in the Leon County Jail, waiting to be transferred to Hillsborough County.
