EPHRATAH, N.Y. (AP) — A volunteer pilot with Angel Flight says the two passengers who died in the upstate New York plane crash were a cancer patient and his wife.

Terence Kindlon says Sunday that he and another Albany-area attorney had flown the patient and his wife to Boston on Friday morning. The plane crashed Friday evening in a wooded area about an hour west of Albany. Two bodies have been found, and a search continued Sunday for the plane's pilot.

Kindlon says the husband was a Marine veteran of Vietnam like himself and was being treated for glioblastoma, a type of brain cancer. He did not name the couple since authorities have yet to reveal their identities.

Officials haven't yet revealed the cause of the crash.
