TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - A state investigator has testified that the Republic of Florida is a made-up organization and says the only reason the FBI raided Jordan Jereb's home in March is because of his self-proclaimed ties to Parkland shooter Nikolas Cruz.
Jereb was in court Wednesday morning for a hearing regarding his probation violation. The hearing reviewed a motion to set bond in the case.
Jereb was arrested in March after the FBI raised his mother’s house in Piney Z and found “tactical knives” allegedly belonging to him. That violates the terms of his probation from a 2016 extortion case.
A state investigator testified the reason for the FBI raid of Jereb’s home was because of self-proclaimed ties to Parkland shooter Nikolas Cruz.
The investigator also said the Republic of Florida is a fictional organization, with Jordan Jereb is its only member.
