TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – The Department of Environmental Protection’s Florida Park Service announces the evacuation of campgrounds and closure of state parks across Central and North Florida due to imminent weather conditions, including strong winds and rain.
The following state park campgrounds have been closed in preparation for the storm:

- Dr. Julian G. Bruce St. George Island State Park, Eastpoint (Franklin County)
- Falling Waters State Park, Chipley (Washington County)
- Fanning Springs State Park, Fanning Springs (Levy County)
- Florida Caverns State Park, Marianna (Jackson County)
- Fort Clinch State Park, Fernandina Beach (Nassau County)
- Gamble Rogers Memorial State Recreation Area at Flagler Beach, Flagger Beach (Flagler County)
- Lafayette Blue Springs State Park, Mayo (Suwannee County)
- Little Talbot Island State Park, Jacksonville (Duval Country)
- Manatee Springs State Park, Chiefland (Dixie County)
- Mike Roess Gold Head Branch State Park, Keystone Heights (Clay County)
- Ochlockonee River State Park, Sopchoppy (Wakulla County)
- O’leno State Park, High Springs (Columbia County)
- Paynes Prairie Preserve State Park, Micanopy (Alachua County)
- Rainbow Springs State Park, Dunnellon (Marion County)
- Silver Springs State Park, Ocalla (Marion County)
