ATLANTA (AP) - Georgia Gov. Nathan Deal's State of the State address is set for Wednesday.
Deal's office announced the address Friday. The legislative session opens Monday at the Capitol in Atlanta.
Deal, a Republican in his second and final term, is expected to focus on education issues during the 2016 legislative session.
His address will take place in the House chamber at 11 a.m.
Lawmakers also are expected to discuss a contentious religious freedom bill and whether to expand gambling in Georgia during the session.
