TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - State Attorney Willie Meggs is expected to go before a Leon County Grand Jury this morning, asking them to examine problems with the Consolidated Dispatch Agency.
The Consolidated Dispatch Agency has been under fire for the handling of 911 calls in several high profile cases.
Most recently, the fatal shooting of a Leon County Sheriff’s Deputy and the campus shooting at Florida State University.
Attorney Willie Meggs says “these cases were handled poorly”.
Meanwhile, the agency is under a full audit by the city auditor which is also expected to be completed soon.
