State Attorney to Interview FSU Football Players for De'Andre Johnson Case

TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) - Three more Florida State University football players will be questioned by the state attorney in a battery case involving a now former quarterback.

De'andre Johnson is charged with misdeamenor battery after a fight at Yianni's Night Club.

The State Attorney's Office released this video this week, showing Johnson punching a woman, and now the state attorney has subpoenaed some Florida State players. He questioned Malique Jackson and Wilson Bell earlier this week.

On Friday, they'll interview Jacob Pugh, Marvin Saunders and Auden Tate.

State Attorney Willie Meggs says,"it was a pretty crowded bar and there were a lot of people associated with the football team there. We are in the process of identifying each of them and we plan to talk to each of them."

Johnson's first court appearance is july 22nd.
