TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - You could say there's a disturbance in the force.

Star Wars fans overnight lined up at movie theaters across the country to see Star Wars: The last Jedi.

But some local fans aren't very happy after reportedly hundreds of tickets were refunded to movie goers at Tallahassee's AMC.

Check out this Facebook post from Katie, saying:

  • "bought tickets for a movie a month ago and a half ago... we show up to see it and the projector isn't working. looks like i won't find out anything about the "the last jedi".

and this one from victoria saying pretty much the same thing:

  • "amc refund line for star wars...only 2 theaters showing....crying children and angry adults".

WTXL reached out to AMC about this matter.

As of this morning, the theater has not responded about whether or not this issue has been fixed or what caused this to happened.
