TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - The St. Jude Walk/Run to End Childhood Cancer has been rescheduled for November 11, a Saturday.

The fundraiser was postponed from September 16 out of respect for the recovery efforts following two hurricanes, Harvey and Irma.

"We hope the upcoming event can serve as an opportunity for our community to gather together ... to support patients battling childhood cancer, to honor survivors and those we have lost to this disease," said Richard C. Shadyac Jr, president of the fundraising arm of the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Registrations can be made at StJude.org/walkrun.

The event will take place at SouthWood Town Center at 3196 Merchants Row Blvd.
