TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - The St. Jude Walk/Run to End Childhood Cancer originally scheduled for Saturday is being postponed to a not-yet determined future date.
The St. Jude Children's Research Hospital said the postponement is out of respect for the recovery efforts following the two hurricanes, Harvey and Irma.
"Registration fees will be honored for the rescheduled date," said Richard C. Shadyac Jr., president and CEO of ALSAC, the fundraising and awareness organization for the hospital.
"In the meantime, if anyone would like to receive an immediate refund of their registratiion fee, we will be happy to process it."
Participants can email refund requests to donors@stjude.org.
