TALLAHASSEE, Fla. -- Thousands are expected to line the streets for the 45th annual Springtime Tallahassee Parade April 6.
This year Cheryl Hines, a Tallahassee native and actress on the ABC comedy "Surburgatory," will be the parade's grand marshal.
In addition Raoul Clarke, the 2012-2013 president of Springtime Tallahassee, says that they have more planned than just the iconic parade. The fun begins Friday night with a special Downtown Getdown, and will last after the parade with a seafood and music festival.

Friday, April 5
6:00 p.m. -- Downtown GetDown
Saturday, April 6
7:45 a.m. -- Springtime 10K and 1 Mile
9:00 a.m. -- Jubilee in the Park
10:30 a.m. -- Springtime Tallahassee Grand Parade
12:00 p.m. -- Seafood & Music Festival with Beer Garden
