TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - While bars were packed with people Monday night celebrating the New Year and watching sports, the next day they see a drop in customers.
Lauren Dickinson, Assistant Manager at Beef 'O' Brady's on Capital Circle, said there is a sharp decline in customers on the first day of the year.
Some of the reasons are some people are tired from the night before so alcohol is the last thing they want to see.
"People are out and about the night before and I think they get a slow start, but the morning are usually a little slower and then maybe it will pick up at night," said Dickinson.
Dickinson goes on to say that a lot of people will eat leftovers in the mornings before coming in at night.
