TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - A Bainbridge State College student with special needs achieved her lifelong goal of becoming an EMT.

Blair Williams stood beside her classmates Tuesday, as she was given an honorary EMT award.

This was a joint effort between the college, South Georgia/Grady EMS, and Bainbridge Public Safety.

Blair received several awards and even a brand new stethoscope from her classmates.

Officials are working to find Blair a permanent position so she can begin her career.
