MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) - A special city council meeting is happening tonight in Midway.
In addition to discussing the city manager's position, the city council is also expected to discuss the case of former police chief Tom Murray.
Murray filed a letter of intent to sue the city after council voted to fire him for "insubordination".
Also on the agenda, is discussion of the current fiscal year budget, which ends on October 31st.
A source tells me because of some pending lawsuits, the city wants to make sure they can financially get through the rest of the year. This means they may have to move around some funds.
The final discussion tonight is about hilltop west park. WTXL is told, they're looking at possibly selling the park to a developer.
