TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - The streets in Southwood were full of excitement as people from all over Tallahassee came to trick-or-treat.
Families from around the community came to collect candy in the Southwood-neighborhood.
This year the Tallahassee Police Department closed most of the roads in the area to control the amount of people.
The road blocks have been a point-of-contention in the past.
Some residents say they are appreciative of law enforcement's efforts to keep everyone safe and are glad it turned out well.
Hundreds of kids trick or treated in Southwood this evening.
