TALLAHASSEE, Fla. -- Tallahassee native, Florida State University alumnus, and Dallas Cowboys linebacker Ernie Sims will be in town this weekend for an event geared towards helping you live a healthier life.
Sims' Big HITS Foundation is teaming up with Maranatha Seventh-Day Adventist Church for the fourth annual Southside Community Health and Fitness Fair. The event will take place Sunday, April 14, from noon to 5 pm. It will be held at the North Florida Fairgrounds.
There will be free food, activities for children, and live performances by local gospel artists. There will also be health screenings for conditions like diabetes, high blood pressure and HIV.
