South Georgia schools extend closings after Hurricane Michael

ALBANY, GA (WALB) - A number of schools have pushed back their dates to return to class after Hurricane Michael hit the area.

Schools still closed after the storm:

  • Decatur County Schools: Students return Wednesday, October 24.
  • Miller County Schools: Closed until Monday, October 29.
  • Seminole County Schools: School to possibly resume November 5.
  • Southwest Georgia Academy will reopen Monday October 29.
