THOMAS CO., GA (WALB) - Three South Georgia men were arrested by Georgia Insurance Commissioner's Office for running a staged accident ring operation.
Germain Baynard, 20, Ryan Law, 21, Demetrius Lee, 22, all of Thomasville, have been charged with felony insurance fraud.
A fourth suspect, Keronda Bell, 46, of Thomasville, is being sought.
Investigators said Bell is the ringleader of the fraud operation.
Special fraud agents with the state insurance commissioner's office said the men would stage slip-and-fall accidents in businesses in Brooks, Colquitt and Thomas counties and then file false insurance claims.
All three men were booked into the Thomas County jail and released on bond.
