VALDOSTA, GA (WTXL) - During November, the South Georgia Medical Center is offering men's health events that cover different topics and will allow participants to ask doctors questions.
The events will start November 4th, and all four of the events will be held at the medical center's Smith Northview Campus Cafeteria. The events are free.
The first event will feature a panel of orthopedic surgeons. The other events will include cardiac experts, a podiatry/vascular panel, and urologists.
South Georgia Medical Center's CEO Randy Sauls says that "too often, men not only fail to get routine check-ups or preventive care, but often ignore symptoms or delay seeking medical attention when ill or in pain."
