OMEGA, Ga. (WTXL)--Mothers Against Drunk Driving is taking its cause to the streets this weekend.
On Saturday MADD will be hosting its 3rd Annual South Georgia 5k Walk in Omega, Georgia.
The fundraiser brings together victims, families and others impacted by drunk driving to raise awareness.
In 2011, MADD served more than 63,000 victims and survivors of drunk driving.
Registration begins at 4 p.m. at Ponder Park. The cost for adults is $20 and children $15.
